Todaiji Temple

One of Japan's most historically significant temples and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Great Buddha (Daibutsu) — a 15-meter bronze statue housed in the world's largest wooden building. The vast Nandaimon Gate with its guardian Nio statues marks the impressive entrance.
