Kodokan

Japan largest feudal domain school, established in 1841 by Lord Tokugawa Nariaki of the Mito domain. Designated as a Special Historic Site, the complex features beautifully preserved Edo-period architecture and gardens with approximately 800 plum trees of 60 varieties, making it a premier plum blossom viewing destination alongside nearby Kairakuen Garden.
