Located adjacent to Kairakuen Garden, Tokiwa Shrine enshrines Tokugawa Mitsukuni (Mito Komon) and Tokugawa Nariaki, two of the most celebrated lords of the Mito domain. The shrine museum houses historical artifacts from the Mito clan. Its tranquil grounds offer beautiful views of Lake Senba and Kairakuen.
