The Sengoku stronghold of Ueda Castle turns crimson for two days of autumn celebration. Highlights include the Sengoku GIG Kachidoki stage event gathering warrior troupes from across Japan and the Amagafuchi Yokocho food street lined with local specialities. Ueda Castle's foliage is usually at its best from late October to late November.
