43rd Toishi-Yoneyama Castle Festival

A community festival held at the foot of the Toishi and Yoneyama castle ruins, the ridge fortresses where Takeda Shingen met his crushing 1550 defeat. Staged in a festival ground at the trailhead, it aims to pass the Kamishina district's cultural heritage on to the next generation and to keep the mountain castles alive in local memory.
