A shrine in the Shichiri district of Nikko. It is known for the Kodomo Gohanshiki, held on the third Sunday of November, a rare rite in which children dressed as mountain ascetics press heaping bowls of rice on adults; it is designated an intangible folk cultural property of Nikko City.
