Nagamachi Samurai District

A beautifully preserved historic district in Kanazawa where middle-ranking samurai of the Kaga Domain once lived. Narrow lanes, earthen walls, and stone-paved paths remain intact, transporting visitors back to the Edo period. The Nomura family residence is open to the public and features a stunning garden praised as one of Japan's finest.
