Oya History Museum

A stunning underground quarry-turned-museum in Utsunomiya, featuring a vast 20,000 sqm cavern carved from Oya stone over decades of mining. The cathedral-like underground space, averaging 30m deep with temperatures around 8 degrees Celsius year-round, has been used as a concert hall, art gallery, and film location.
