🌿 Nature

Miho no Matsubara is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed pine grove on a narrow sand spit in Shizuoka Prefecture, celebrated for its iconic view of Mount Fuji rising behind the pine trees. The thousands of black pine trees stretching along the shoreline have inspired Japanese artists and poets for centuries. The site holds deep cultural significance as the setting for the famous Noh play Hagoromo, which tells the legend of a celestial being's feathered robe.
