One of Kamakura's most popular temples, Hasedera is famed for its 9.18-meter tall gilded wooden Kannon statue, one of the largest in Japan. Built along a wooded hillside, the temple terrace offers stunning coastal views. In June, the ajisai-ro path blooms with 2,500 hydrangea plants in vivid colors.
