A striking vermilion shrine overlooking the Kanmon Strait, dedicated to the child Emperor Antoku who perished in the 1185 Battle of Dan-no-ura. Its Dragon Palace-inspired gate and seaside setting make it one of Shimonoseki's most photogenic landmarks.
