Yaegaki Shrine

A legendary Shinto shrine in Matsue famous for matchmaking and love fortune-telling. Visitors place a coin on a paper fortune and float it on the sacred Mirror Pond — how fast it sinks predicts when love will come. The shrine enshrines Susanoo and Kushinadahime from Japanese mythology.
