A museum in central Nagaoka dedicated to Isoroku Yamamoto, the Nagaoka-born admiral who commanded Japan's Combined Fleet in WWII. Exhibits include personal letters, belongings and the recovered left wing of the aircraft in which he died, tracing his life and his ties to his hometown.
