Daishoin Temple

One of the oldest and most important temples on Miyajima Island, nestled at the foot of Mount Misen. The temple grounds feature hundreds of unique Buddhist statues, spinning prayer wheels, and a cave with 88 icons representing the Shikoku Pilgrimage. A serene alternative to the crowds at Itsukushima Shrine.
