Naruto Whirlpools (Uzu no Michi Walkway)

One of Japan's most spectacular natural phenomena — massive whirlpools up to 30 meters in diameter form in the Naruto Strait between Shikoku and Awaji Island. View them from the glass-floored Uzu no Michi walkway 45 meters above the sea, built beneath the Onaruto Bridge. Spring and autumn tides produce the largest whirlpools.
