A striking Shinto shrine in Osaka's Namba district famous for its giant lion head stage (Shishi-den), a 12-meter tall structure with an enormous open mouth that is said to swallow evil spirits and bring good luck. The shrine hosts the annual Tug-of-War Festival in January and the summer Namba boat procession on Dotonbori River.
