Hida Folk Village (Hida no Sato)

An open-air museum in the hills of Takayama preserving more than 30 traditional houses relocated from across the Hida region, including steep thatched gassho-zukuri farmhouses set around a pond, with craft demonstrations and seasonal scenery.
