About this event

One of the Tohoku Big Summer Festivals featuring the world's largest taiko drum parade. Over 30,000 dancers and drummers parade through central Morioka in colorful costumes, creating a thunderous and joyful spectacle. Visitors can join the open dancing at the end of each evening.
