Omagari National Fireworks Competition 2026

About this event

One of Japan's top three fireworks competitions, held along the Omono River in Daisen, Akita. Approximately 18,000 fireworks light up the sky, including rare daytime fireworks visible only at this event. Pyrotechnicians from across Japan compete for the top prize.
