Widely regarded as Japan's premier fireworks competition, held annually on the last Saturday of August. Master pyrotechnicians from across Japan compete with their finest displays along the Omono River. Features both daytime fireworks (rare in Japan) and an evening competition, with approximately 18,000 fireworks. The 98th edition in 2026.
