Hakata Old Town Light-Up Walk 2026

About this event

Four autumn evenings when the temples, shrines and squares of Hakata's old quarter — Gokusho, Reisen and Gofukumachi — are lit for night viewing, this year under the theme STARS. Gardens and halls normally closed after dark open their gates, and Jotenji hosts a night market. Gokusho and Reisen 17:30-21:00 (last entry 20:45); Gofukumachi 17:30-21:30 (last entry 21:15). Held in rain.
