Michinoku Kokeshi Festival

A two-day gathering of traditional kokeshi wooden dolls at Yamagata Big Wing. Craftsmen from across the Tohoku region display and sell dolls in their local styles, demonstrate lathe-turning and painting, and offer hands-on painting sessions for visitors.
