49th Obi Castle Town Festival

About this event

Nichinan's largest autumn festival, staged around Obi Castle. Day one features horseback displays and the Taiheiodori folk dance, a prefecturally designated intangible folk cultural property; on day two a costumed procession of samurai commanders, women warriors and the festival's princesses winds through the old castle town.
