About this event
A magical summer lightup event at Kifune Shrine in the mountains of northern Kyoto. The shrine approach and grounds are adorned with colorful tanzaku wish strips on bamboo branches, illuminated at night creating an enchanting atmosphere in the cool mountain air. Visitors can write wishes and enjoy the evening breeze along the Kifune River.
