About this event
Kitakata's Yamato district, famous for its spring-water soba, celebrates the new buckwheat harvest. On the opening weekend the Michikusa-dori shopping street hosts a community-wide soba event, and through late November seven soba restaurants in the district serve freshly milled new-crop noodles.
