A scenic park built on the former site of Kubota Castle, the seat of the Satake clan during the Edo period. Located just 10 minutes walk from JR Akita Station, the park features the restored Osumiyagura turret, beautiful cherry blossoms in spring, and a lotus pond. The grounds also include the Hirano Masakichi Art Museum.
