A dramatic vine bridge spanning the Iya River gorge in Tokushima's remote Iya Valley. Made from hardy vines and rebuilt every three years, this 45-meter bridge sways as you cross, offering thrilling views of the emerald river below. Designated an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property. The valley is one of Japan's three great hidden regions.
