A memorial park established near the hypocenter of the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki. The iconic Peace Statue, 9.7 meters tall, stands as a symbol of peace and the abolition of nuclear weapons. Every year on August 9, a Peace Memorial Ceremony is held here to remember the victims.
