Hiratai Highland
Kuji, Japan
A highland at about 560 metres in Kuji, famous for Japan's largest wild stand of white birch, some 310,000 trees. It also hosts the Hiratai Kogen togyu bullfighting ring, one of the few venues in Tohoku for this traditional contest.
