Kannonike Park

A large park on the shore of Kannonike, a reservoir in the Takajo district of Miyakonojo. The cherry trees ringing the water make it a well-known hanami spot within Miyazaki Prefecture, and the grounds include a campsite, a pool and a broad open plaza. In autumn the plaza hosts the city's yakiniku carnival and the Miyakonjo fireworks display.
