Daisetsuzan Sounkyo Kurodake Ropeway

A ropeway climbing from Sounkyo Onsen to the 5th station of Mt. Kurodake in Daisetsuzan National Park. Famous for Japan's earliest autumn colors from mid-September, alpine flowers in summer, and panoramic views over the Sounkyo gorge; a pair lift continues to the 7th station for hikers.
