A large gravity dam on the Oguni River in Nagai, Yamagata, completed in 2011. Its reservoir, Lake Hyakushu, is ringed by steep forest and is the gateway to Mifuchi Gorge, a narrow canyon reachable only by boat. The dam site has an observation deck and a study centre.
