A stretch of eroded coastline on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Nishiizu, often called the Matsushima of Izu. Sightseeing boats run into the Tensodo sea cave, whose collapsed ceiling lets sunlight fall on the water, and at low tide a sandbar surfaces to connect the offshore Sanshiro Islands to the shore.
