Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum

Museum in the historic canal town of Sawara dedicated to Ino Tadataka, the Edo-period surveyor who created the first accurate map of Japan. Exhibits include his original survey instruments and maps designated as National Treasures, across the Onogawa River from his preserved former residence.
