A castle-like municipal winery on a hill in Ikeda, Hokkaido, run by the town itself since 1963. Visitors can tour the underground ageing cellars where Tokachi Wine matures, taste the town's signature Yamabudo-based reds, and take in views over the Tokachi plain from the rooftop terrace. The building is the symbol of Japan's first town-run wine project.
