A thatched villa and moss garden on the slopes of Mt. Niiyama in Kanzaki, Saga, built by the merchant Itami Yataro and laid out over nine years from 1900. A nationally designated Place of Scenic Beauty, it opens to the public for only a few weeks each autumn.
