Shiraito Falls (Karuizawa)

A curtain-like waterfall north of Karuizawa, about 3 m high and 70 m wide, fed entirely by spring water filtering through Mt. Asama's volcanic layers. The fine white streams resemble hanging silk threads; illuminated events are held in summer and winter.
