A pedestrian suspension bridge 250 m long and 142 m above the Aya river gorge. It spans one of Japan's largest remaining tracts of evergreen broadleaf forest, registered as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and trails on the far side lead through the old-growth woods. The views down into the gorge are best in fresh green and in autumn colour.
