Rural theater stage in the grounds of Goo Shrine in Hata, Tokushima City. A nationally designated Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property, it is known for fusuma karakuri, the rapid changing of painted sliding-door backdrops. An Awa puppet theater performance is held every November 3.
