The Sacred Kagura Offering Ceremony at Yasaka Shrine features a performance of kagura, Japan's oldest form of sacred music and dance offered to the gods. Shrine maidens and priests perform the ritual before the main hall, blending elegance with deep spiritual reverence. Kagura has been performed in Shinto ceremonies for over a thousand years and remains one of the most enchanting traditional arts in Japan.
