The Sapporo Summer Festival transforms Odori Park into one of Japan's largest outdoor beer gardens, with over 10,000 seats under temporary tents from major breweries including Sapporo, Asahi, Kirin, and Yebisu. Running for nearly a month from late July to mid-August, the festival also features the Hokkaido Bon Odori dance (Aug 13-16), the Susukino Festival (Aug 6-8), food stalls serving Hokkaido specialties like grilled lamb and fresh seafood, and live entertainment throughout.
