Kochi Castle Keep & Kaitokukan Special Night Opening

During the Yosakoi Kochi National Cultural Festival, the keep of Kochi Castle and the Kaitokukan lord's residence stay open after dark on Fridays, weekends and holidays. Visitors can climb the only castle in Japan where both the keep and the honmaru palace survive, and look out over the illuminated castle town.
