Light-Up Nikko 2026

About this event

The World Heritage shrines and temples of Nikko are floodlit after dark, with the buildings emerging from the darkness against the night sky. Three days of programming include the lighting ceremony at Futarasan Shrine, night weddings open to the public, and taiko drumming on a stage in front of Rinnoji's Sanbutsudo hall.
