About this event
The Seiryu-e (Blue Dragon Ceremony) at Kiyomizudera is a spectacular procession featuring participants dressed as the guardian blue dragon spirit, parading through the temple grounds and surrounding streets. The vivid and dramatic performance draws large crowds and symbolizes the protective deity enshrined beneath the temple.
