Miyazaki City's annual December road race, known for a warm, subtropical course along the coast toward Aoshima that draws runners from across Japan. The start is at 9:00 with a 6-hour-20-minute cut-off, and the Miyazaki marathon for visually impaired runners is held alongside it.
