About this event

One of Japan's top three festivals, held at Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. The grand boat procession of over 100 illuminated vessels on the Okawa River and a spectacular fireworks display on July 25 are the highlights. The land procession features 3,000 participants in traditional Heian-period costumes.
