About this event
An elegant festival on the Oi River upstream of Togetsukyo Bridge, celebrating the autumn foliage of Arashiyama and Mt. Ogura. Ornate boats carrying imayo dancers, court musicians and noh performers glide along the river, recreating Heian-era aristocratic pastimes. Free to watch from the riverbanks.
