Tenjin Matsuri

About this event

One of Japan's top three festivals, held at Osaka Tenmangu Shrine. The highlight is the boat procession on July 25, when over 100 vessels parade along the Okawa River, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display. The land procession features 3,000 participants in period costumes.
