About this event
The autumn festival of Wakamiya Shrine in the Nakashima district of Kyuragi, Karatsu. Interrupted after the war, it was revived in 1998; residents in matching red happi coats pull ornate floats made entirely by hand, and newly harvested local rice and food stalls are on sale.
