About this event
Held on Showa Day, this festival at Heian Jingu honors the legacy of Emperor Showa and the spirit of the era he presided over. Traditional ceremonies and offerings are performed beneath the shrine's grand vermillion torii. A meaningful occasion to reflect on modern Japanese history.
